How anyone could resist their music is unknown to me. I love them. I've only seen them in person twice - once when I was around 10, and again at 24. 14 years between concerts, and still every bit as good. Around the time of that 2nd concert, I was going through some hard times, and literally for a month after that concert, I could not listen to any of their songs without crying. They lifted me up that much...just hearing something from my childhood.

Our dearest Mary was diagnosed with leukemia shortly after that concert, but last I heard (from their website), she is recovered and doing very, very well. The group is on tour again. I wrote to her when I heard she was sick, and told her how much their music means to me. The group's publicist, I believe, wrote back and said that she was very grateful for my letter, and that he was printing out everyone's e-mails to her and putting them in binders for her. I am so glad she's doing well now. Below are the banners I made for my signatures at various forums when she was ill. The orange ribbon is for leukemia.
