Review of Ice Cream Skittles

My friend Susan e-mailed me a review of the new ice-cream-flavored Skittles, which I haven’t gotten to try yet. Here’s what she said (posted with permission):

Just because … an analysis of each of the flavors in the Limited Edition Ice Cream Skittles bag. Without further ado:

- Caramel Ripple (light brown) - kind of caramel in flavor, but I can’t pinpoint what they remind me of, perhaps a lighter version of the chocolate ones.
- Chocolate (dark brown) - like a chocolate, Skittle-sized (& textured) Tootsie Roll.
- Vanilla (white) - reminds me of vanilla-flavored frosting.
- Orange Vanilla Swirl (light orange) - a less intense version of the original orange Skittle.
- Strawberry (light pink) - a less intense version of the original Strawberry Skittle.

I wasn’t sure what to make of them at first. I ate half a bag yesterday and finished the rest today. I like them, although it’s a different turn from doing fruit flavors, that’s for sure.
